Reasons To Have A Fruitful Life

There will be times in one’s life where you will question your existence and the way of living. There are so many questions one would ask to him or herself. In Roslynn Bryant’s book, The Seven Fs to a Fruitful Life, she provides answers to most of your questions in life. Bryant conveys to the readers how to live one’s life to the fullest which God has intended. She discloses the significance of the seven Fs which are faith, family, friends, finances, fitness, focus, and future. These seven Fs are keys to having a fruitful life.

The Bible describes a fruitful life as one that bears good things. To bear this fruit would be difficult on our own. We need God to be there every step of the way. We need to accept that God is our gardener. He planted us to the earth to bear fruits and be prosperous. He will cultivate and nourish us to our highest potential. God will be our source of water, sunlight, and soil. With God’s help we will bear fruits of truth, kindness, wisdom, and so much more.

If you have read The Seven Fs to a Fruitful Life then surely you would learn by now the aspects to attain a fruitful life. But, there is still a question that lingers upon knowing how to achieve a fruitful life. That question is, why do we need to live a fruitful life? Hence, this article will provide reasons to support the notion of why one needs to live a fruitful life.

To Have Greater Faith in God

The first reason as to why one must have a fruitful life is to have greater and stronger faith in the Lord. God created the world, humans, and animals. As Christians, it is only right that we need to have faith in the God up above and walk with him. God will always be there for us no matter what. He will forever accept and forgive us for our sins. Before achieving a fruitful life, one will go under numerous challenges and trials in life. These obstacles can make and break you. However, these too can help you establish and strengthen your bond with the Lord. A fruitful life is equivalent to pleasing God and spreading His word.

To Feel Contented and Fulfillment

We need to have a fruitful life for the reason to feel content with what we have. To be fruitful does not necessarily mean to be successful. Success in money and work is not an indicator of a fruitful life. Success can sometimes mean that you are good and highly valued so as to your performance in an area but not valued in the lives of your family and friends. It can also mean as you are always in need to be higher in position from others. However, a fruitful life means that you are happy for the success of others and you are happy with your achievements no matter its significance. One can only say that his or her life is fruitful when he or she is in a state of fulfillment and peaceful happiness. Being fruitful means that you won’t compare your apple to someone’s orange but rather see the beauty and knowledge of your fruit. By gaining awareness of your value that is only then you will feel complete and fulfilled.

To Be with People You Love Most

Life is too short to be unhappy and be surrounded by people that do not appreciate you. One person may feel the need to meet and make a lot of friends to be happy. However, when you have a fruitful life, you will not need the attention of numerous people. You will only need the attention of few but close people. These people will not only tolerate you but they will give you energy and take energy from you. These are people who won’t be there for you only in your success but also in your trying times. These are people who will tell you things that may be good or bad, not something you would want to hear.

To Bear the Fruit

The last and most important reason why we need to live a fruitful life is to bear the fruit. Just as stated in the introduction, God planted and cultivated us for a reason. That reason can vary from person to person. However, the important thing is we achieve the goal to bear the fruit. If your fruit is to serve God then serve God not only by becoming a priest or a nun but by spreading His word, gospel, truth, and promise. If God’s fruit for you is to multiply, then just like a tree, bear fruit by bringing forth children to the world and introducing them to the Lord.
