Sammie the Shark then learned that it is a very special gift for someone whom he love and is special to him. Sammie the Shark teaches the children the lesson of being honest and helpful. He teaches children that when you find a treasure that is not yours. You have to be a good kid and return it to its rightful owner.

Katie and Kenny Tour the Railroad

Keith Niles Corman’s first children’s book “Katie and Kenny Tour the Railroad” is a story of two cat siblings who went on a tour to the local railroads along their father. They were taught by the railroad workers the basic safety and the proper handling of train engine and equipment. Once-ler was once a reckless entrepreneur who chopped the trees in the forest to create Thneed. He was then approached by the Lorax. The Lorax is a small creature who objects the cutting of trees because of the negative outcomes it can cause. However, Once-ler did not pay heed. The chopping of trees then caused of the polluted and destroyed environment. Soon, the reckless entrepreneur realizes what he has done and decided to accept the responsibility. This book teaches children the importance of taking care of not only the environment but also the planet. This story also educates children that for every action their is always a consequence.

Cornelia Funke’s debut children’s book shares a story about a princess named Violet. This young princess hopes to show everyone that, just like her brothers, she is also strong and brave. However, her strict king father has other plans in mind. He tells her that she has to get married. In addition to this, her brothers scorn her whenever she insists in joining them. Then, princess Violet took it upon herself that she will prove to them that she is brave, strong, and intelligent. She joined the knight’s jousting competition by disguising herself as a boy. She then won the tournament and revealed her identity to everyone. This book teaches children the importance of bravery and that only you can save yourself.

This children’s picture book by Maurice Sendak is a wild and naughty boy named Max. Having been so mischievous, his mother sent him to bed without his supper. In his bedroom, Max begins to imagine that he was sailing away. He sailed to an island of Wild Thing. He was then named as their king. At first, it was all fun and joy. Until, he began to feel lonely and missed his family. He then decides to go home rather than be king. Back in his room, he found that there was supper left for him. In this book, Max teaches children the lesson that being too naughty is not good and that there is no place like home. It also teaches children of the unconditional love of parents to their children
